grilled kofta in the oven
Kofta is one of the most popular and delicious dishes
Ingredients 🍲
A kilo of finely minced meat with fat
2 finely grated onions
4 crushed garlic cloves
1 tablespoon of seven spices
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon baking soda (or 1 teaspoon baking powder)
Preparation method 🍽️
We start by grating the onions, then filtering them in a colander and setting the water aside.
Put the grated onion and mashed garlic on top of the meat with the problem spices i.e. salt, pepper, cinnamon, ginger and seven spices and stir until the ingredients are well mixed.
Add baking soda to the meat and stir well until it absorbs all the flavors, then cover and set aside.
We shape the meat according to taste, whether on the skewer or in the form of discs, and then put it in the oven tray.
We preheat the oven and put the kofta tray and leave it for about 30 minutes until the meat is well cooked, so that the grilled kofta is ready to be served
